UMI Arts is excited and honoured to be delivering the 17th annual Big Talk One Fire Festival, and look forward to bringing together our community of First Nations artists, creators, performers, cultural practitioners, and leaders to celebrate culture, arts and music. Big Talk One Fire is a FREE First Nations Cultural Festival, celebrating and showcasing the culture, art and music of Far North Queensland’s First Nations. In 2024 we will be back at our new home of Munro Martin park to deliver a full day and evening of activites, art and music.

Time: 3 – 9pm

Venue: Munro Martin Park, Cairns QLD

Expected Attendance: 3000+

We are looking for performers for the main stage, facilitators and speakers to give talks and run workshops, art and business market stalls for our First Nations Art Market, and amazing local food vendors! This portal is where you can apply to become involved in the Festival, and will also be updated with information for Participants as we move closer to the big event day. Lots more information about participation is outlined in the Application Forms (please read carefully!).
